Resolved Question: Thoughts on Humboldt State University?

I am transferring in Fall 2012 and one of the schools I got accepted into was Humboldt State. I was curious if I could get some feedback on the school from former and current students. I am currently living in Southern California and moving to Northern California will be a big change for me. So I had a few questions I'm hoping you all can help me with: What is the school like? What's the social life there? How is living in Arcata? What is the best/worst things about Humboldt? Here is a little background info about me: I am 24 yrs old (I didn't go to college right after high school) and was born and raised in Orange County, CA (the not so nice part). I don't care much for Southern California, its hot, over crowded and I spend so much time in traffic I want to rip my hair out. I feel like moving to a small town surrounded by nature will rejuvenate me, but it is a HUGE move and want to make sure its the right one for me.
